Indian campground. Half way between the southern edge of the canyon, and the Bright Angel campground on the banks of the Colorado River, where we move in August and spend the night tomorrow.
last night's horrible dab (despite the fleece, tracksuit, sleeping bag and extra warmth in a sleeping bag inserts bark teeth), but today on approximately 37st C. madhouse.
descend from the top we started later than by the plan (why I'm not surprised ...), but on the spot we went away before 11am. 7.5 km down, the beautiful views, with heavy backpacks, a lot of people and high temperature. is really amazing to be here in the middle. I saw the canyon exactly ten years ago from the observation deck, and I had promised myself to come back for longer. my big brain tells me I made it.
